In around 1800 Benjamin Ferrand created a Will in which he bequeathed the Ferrand's Estate to Charles.
Unfortunately when Benjamin Ferrand died just 3 years later in 1803, Charles was only 7 years old. He was too young to inherit and so the estate passed onto his Mother's brother, Edward Ferrand.
