St. David's Ruin is a folly which was built by Benjamin Ferrand in 1796 so that he could see it from his residence at Harden Grange.
Deliberately built as a "ruin", it was unfortunately vandalised in the early 1980s; what was left of the ruins is now surrounded by trees situated on private land, and is no longer accessible to the public.
